PT-141 (Bremelanotide) 10mg
Bremelanotide (PT-141) is a cyclic heptapeptide melanocortin receptor agonist derived from Melanotan-II but with selective MC4R activity. It is studied as a centrally-acting melanocortin ligand, distinct from dopaminergic and serotonergic agents, and is used to probe hypothalamic and limbic MC4R arousal-circuit signaling. Supplied strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use only. Not for human or animal use.

Mechanism of Action
PT-141 selectively activates MC3R and MC4R in hypothalamic and limbic structures. In research models, MC4R activation in the paraventricular nucleus and medial preoptic area is studied for oxytocinergic and dopaminergic signaling within arousal circuitry. Unlike PDE5 inhibitors, which act peripherally on vascular smooth muscle, bremelanotide engages central motivational circuitry — the basis for its use as a receptor-pharmacology tool compound.
