Mechanism of Action
As a Selank analog, it is studied for the parent peptide's mechanisms: enhancement of GABA-A receptor sensitivity without direct benzodiazepine-site binding, modulation of enkephalin metabolism (inhibition of enkephalin-degrading enzymes), and tuftsin-related immunomodulatory activity.
